The car seat material is durable and absorbent which prevents stains from penetrating the fabric of the car seat so it meets these criteria; however, there are no fasteners to hold the seat cover in place. When I get out of the car, the seat cover wants to go with me. Every time I get back in the car I have to put the seat cushion back in the right position. I added a bungee cord around the seat cover where the seat back and seat strap try to keep the seat cover from moving. It's helped some, but it's not ideal. I'm solving this problem, but it would be nice if the design included clips to hold the seat cover in place.
