Great soap at a great price

Washing. I had some concerns when trying this powder cleanser, but so far I'm very impressed. I have a heavy duty washing machine with detergent drawers. I put 1.5 teaspoons in a drawer and started a "sanitize" cycle. The box was pristine and empty after the cycle so the power in the boxes seems to be working great. My clothes came out clean, soft, and smelling fresh, although there was no trace of the original essential oil scent. Clean clothes only. I usually use a liquid cleanser for sensitive skin with a special light scent, so I'm very happy that this product is for people with sensitive skin. My skin seems to like it so far. It comes in a plastic bag and is about the size, shape and weight of a guinea pig. I put mine in a short glass container but ran out of space and ended up needing a large container to hold everything. In my estimation, that's enough for half a liter canister. Of course you can just store it in a plastic bag. Comes with a small plastic measuring cup. I ended up using an old metal teaspoon. This material is incredibly economical! I usually wash 2 loads a week so this will last almost two years which is insanely cool for the current price of $28. The smell is pleasant, like the smell of cedar, but rather weak. If you're looking for a stronger scent, you might like the other flavor they have, which is Be Mine. It's much more noticeable. For this one ("Acadian Forest"), I'm going to continue my usual washing practice of adding a few drops of peppermint oil to the soap before washing. I like minty freshness, it drives away insects and rodents!

Pros
  • One tablespoon is enough for cloth diapers, hockey gear or mechanic's gear
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
