Review on ๐Ÿ”ต Loctite 248 Blue Threadlocker Glue Stick: All-Purpose, Medium-Strength Anaerobic Adhesive, Blue, 9g Stick (Part Number: 37643-506166) by John Contreras

"Blue " is a good compromise between tightening and loosening screws.

I had one as a free sample from the distributor of a trade journal. Couldn't use him at work as he didn't have the right pedigree and certification papers so I took him home. Well it's been about 10 years and I'm buying another one. Much easier to use than liquids and there is less spillage so it lasts about as long as a medium sized bottle. It costs extra money compared to liquid, don't worry about the weight difference. Just turn the screw at the end of the stick and you're done. "Blue" is a good compromise between tightening the screws and later loosening them. I use it on almost everything on my jeep so they don't hang around on the track. "Red" is very strong and you will mess up small screws, larger 3/8 and larger screws require heat to loosen, blue is no heat and no broken screws. Stick with the Locktite brand, I've tried several other brands (liquids) but they don't seem to work as well.
