Review on 🧶 Phentex Worsted Yarn - 14 oz - Black - Single Ball by Carrie Spencer

I've been a newbie for many years. I cannot give a professional opinion. Firstly when I ordered it I couldn't tell what size it was. That's big. When the band is removed, it turns into a ball of yarn the size of a soccer ball. It's soft and a bit thinner than the inexpensive, not-so-soft yarn I'm used to. But that's the same number of ounces, so it's probably more. It doesn't flake off on me and, as I said, is soft and pleasant to work with. The color is perfect. It is cream or matte cream in color. The color is pleasant, lighter than cream. So far I've used it as a base for them in combination with new yarn. If the ball of yarn has a center pull feature, I can't find it. So it's best to keep it in a nice clean large bag so it can rotate as you unwind. He doesn't get tangled. I haven't washed any of it yet, so I can't tell you how it will hold up after washing.
