As a first time user of brush pens I was pleasantly surprised at how easy they are to use. The colors are rich, bright and beautiful. Coloring thick lines does not require much effort, and the pens contain a lot of color. I love using them in my adult coloring books. I recommend putting paper under the page you are coloring as it will bleed as coloring books tend to be thin pages. Pens aren't designed for the more detailed and intricate shapes in a coloring book. The pens have a thin tip and are very comfortable to hold when drawing. I would definitely recommend these brush pens and wish I had bought 24 or 48 for more color options.
