Review on MinChen Rechargeable Waterproof Interface Headlamp by Matthew Coste

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Seems sturdy enough to fit in a pannier.

This 6 battery version is better than the 4 battery version only because it has two screws holding the cover in place. Am a vaper with lots of 18650 batteries to reuse and chargers. Needed something to spruce up an old Cree T6 bike light. Appears to be well built. In fact, you can tighten and loosen both cover screws at the same time. It might help to understand how small this thing is. Easily fits in a small handlebar bag. A little remark. The thread on one lid is slightly damaged. If I do this carefully, I hope that over time I'll be able to restore the threads and I won't have any issues with the threads not crossing over. Currently only with 4 batteries. When the light is connected, a small power indicator lights up. Whether the power button of this pack is pressed or not. I just turn it off when I'm not using it. The power button of this device only works with USB. Do not attempt to connect a power source to this device to charge the batteries in this device. The attachment strap is a good velcro but does not provide enough security for the device. I tried wrapping the bike frame with sandpaper. That stopped it from bouncing, but it will be in a pannier.
