Excellent range, very accurate and easy to use.
It works as described. It's great for checking HVAC outlet temperature, detecting air leaks around doors/windows, and checking the temperature of pretty much anything you don't want or can't touch. It has a laser to help you navigate, but the temperature is measured by an infrared sensor. It will read a small range of around 20 feet.
