The plastic bridge will bend when some force is applied to it. This will pull the dent out a bit, but then the bridge will start to move/flex and the dent will stay as it is. The gold part of the hilt was also more or less useless, as you could put as much force into it as the short lever would allow. Making this vise or bridge system out of metal improves the system, but as it is it's a waste of money on big dents. This may work for small dents, but if your dent is medium or large, don't waste your money. After I wrote this review including details on why the product is bad and how they can improve the kit, the company contacted me and asked me to remove my review. Any company that would go for it seems to know they are making a poor quality product and want to take advantage of ill-informed buyers. I bought the product so I wouldn't have to take my car to an accident specialist, but that's exactly what I did. So if this is your goal, just contact a specialist.
