Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect fit at a great price! UKR Rules!

These new rubber inserts for the keyless remote fit perfectly. And they came quickly. Delivery in 1 day! I have a 2005 Buick Lacross that doesn't get that much use. This is the second car. But I've had it since it was new. Over the years, the keyless remote has become very noisy when locking and unlocking the car. But only these 2 buttons. The trunk and the panic button always worked. I couldn't use the remote start feature either, as you have to first press the lock button as part of the sequence to start it. It turns out that the black graphite (or something like that) on the inside of the keyboard wears out over time and no longer makes good contact with the circuit board inside. And since they are the two most used keys, they come first. I tried an internet trick (foil on the back of the buttons) that worked great until you realized that there is no way to stop the foil from moving in the button even if you don't like it in yours touch pocket or something. Then before you know it your car will start to unlock itself or if you have the remote start function. starts by itself! Not good! No glue sticks to the rubber that makes up the pad. I have tried everything to glue foil, but it is not possible. Well, one more time. Revain is here to help. I found these replacement pads in a search. You get 2 of them. And the best thing is that they only cost $10.99. When I found these pads sold by YKR (your keyless remote) I had probably spent over $10 on glue and foil and they also came with a little card that you register on their website and if your keys are lost and If a nice person finds it and just posts it (free of charge) in the nearest mailbox, the company will post it to you. That's a nice addition. It says that whoever finds the keys will be rewarded, but I couldn't find anywhere on their website or on the map what that reward is. It's probably a discount on their products or something. Anyway, they match my remote perfectly and all the buttons work great! This saved my life because the only other option I had was to get new remotes and then take them to the dealer or program something for a fee. On my consoles, the electronics worked fine as far as I could tell, the pads were just worn out. So this was another great purchase! I love that I can warm up my car in the morning with a push of a button on the remote control instead of rushing out onto the road at 4am in a bathrobe. I am in Penza. So it's still winter here. Barr. I highly recommend these replacement pads. My only suggestion is. Make sure you have the same remote and visually check if you have the same buttons. Some vehicles do not have a remote start function. But no worry. They sell pads for this type. So it is very important to check the #s on your original remote and visually verify the location. I saw in one person's review that it didn't match their remote, but from the photos they posted I could clearly see that the green electronics board was different than mine. There were serial number stickers on the circuit board and stuff like that. it's not mine. Just make sure you check these things out and you'll be glad you bought them instead of trying all those internet tricks. I am adding pictures of my remote control and the green board. If you have the same remote as mine, maybe you can compare the board and button layout to mine. And it will fit just like mine. UKR Rules! Many Thanks. as in the pictures. The pad on the left is a YKR replacement. The block on the right is native (worn).
