It's been difficult to find smart plugs that work with a WiFi router that only offers 5GHz, but this Broadlink smart plug nailed it. The setup instructions were a bit clunky and it took some patience to get the smart plug working, but the patience paid off. I've just ordered two more now that I know this smart plug works with my Alexa enabled devices. My only complaint was the dramatic price increase in less than a week. I bought this first smart plug for $11.60 (tax included). A week later, the price rose to just under $20 a piece including taxes. I gritted my teeth and paid the difference, but only because there were few alternatives. I really can't understand why they are so much more expensive than most other smart plugs.
