Review on XPEL Clear Universal Protection R3022 by Brian Cooper

The surface must be absolutely clean! I was looking to protect the paint next to my plastic rocker guard on my pickup truck when I noticed the paint was thinning next to this guard that was going in and out on the driver's side. Of course I washed it with Vindex and dried it, making sure there were no foreign objects preventing it from sticking. It lasted very well for about 2 weeks and also slid well when my foot wasn't fully secured on this toe guard. After the first few weeks I noticed that it was starting to peel off at the edge. It is possible that water ingress caused the adhesive to lose its function. It eventually started tearing and tearing, now with bits and strips where the stickiness has done its job well. I have about 18 inches left, not sure what I'm going to do with it? It adapts well to the contours of the car frame and looks beautiful when applied. Try it on a new car and see if it fits. does it last longer?
