Review on 🚽 Barker 15 Gallon Camper Tote-Along Tank: Convenient and Portable Solution for Waste Management on the Go! by Mike Robinson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works as intended and is a good option for those who need a smaller, low profile tank.

I bought this tank because I bought a converted car trailer that had a bath in the front with a black water tank and the gray water just dripped onto the floor. My trailer is only 11 inches off the ground while most other portable tanks are 11 inches or more. This tank meets my gray water collection needs (I roll it under the trailer and stick a funnel in the large 3" hole to catch it). My black water tank holds about 16 gallons, so this 15 gallon tank will serve so that I can dump at least some of my black water into it in a pinch. The tank itself is well made, but the wheels and axle are pretty flimsy - I wouldn't want to attempt to tow that long distance to a landfill. . But it's great for hand towing short distances, and two people can lift it onto the bed of a pickup truck. The tank comes with a metal handle that fits under the molded plastic handle, thus acting as an extension so you don't have to bend down too much when moving the tank. The tank has a sticker next to the handle warning against towing this tank (that instruction is a bit unclear but I believe what they mean is not to be towed behind your car to the campsite junkyard like some other tanks) . All in all, if you want a low-height tank, this is a smart choice (and one of the few available). My only complaint is that the assembly instructions are incredibly basic - basically just parts diagrams meant to serve as a guide. The axle assembly is a bit flimsy, but just line it up with the groove in the plastic tank and really push it in. Also, there is a tether attached to the 3" cap that looks like it's meant to be attached to the tank to prevent loss, but my tank doesn't have a convenient attachment point.
