Not for all marine electronics kayaks

I'm sure this product will work for some but for me it was a waste of money. I have a large sit up tandem kayak so it has four holes in the bottom and I found that I could just thread the transducer cable through one of them and pull it up. It fits perfectly and I used a small elastic to keep it in place. Works much better than in a kayak. I would recommend trying different things with your kayak before making this purchase as it was a lot of money for what is essentially a block of foam packing material and glue.
