Love this 15mm baseplate. It's easy to attach a quick release plate with 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 threads on the bottom. You can even mount with 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threads if your quick plate has both. The metal construction of this lamp is lightweight but very durable. The 15mm rails are a standard width so you can use them with the standard focus or build your own shoulder gear using them as a baseplate. There are also 1/4-20 mounting points on the front and back so you can add articulating arms to mount an external monitor or other accessory of your choice. Pros: Lightweight and compact. The 15 mm guides are firmly fixed with clamping screws. Multiple 1/4-20 mounting holes throughout the panel. Cons: 2 separate screw rails for camera mounting, 1 long rail would be ideal. All in all, you can't go wrong with this record. Whether you want to add tracking focus to your camera or create a full shoulder rest, this is a great place to start.
