Our router overheats very easily, especially in summer without air conditioning. We had a small fan, but it works much better and is much quieter than the fan we used previously. My only complaint is that the power cord is only about a foot long, which is fine if you're powering it from the device it's cooling, but our router doesn't have a USB port.
