Great fan Internal components

Use this for my Asus router - it keeps very cool. amazed at how well it worked. The only downside is that the legs are a bit high for my position. I had to use a razor to make my legs look smaller. Too bad it came with adjustable legs. but it is a very good fan setup and works very well.

Short cable but good fan

Our router overheats very easily, especially in summer without air conditioning. We had a small fan, but it works much better and is much quieter than the fan we used previously. My only complaint is that the power cord is only about a foot long, which is fine if you're powering it from the device it's cooling, but our router doesn't have a USB port. We ended up using an Ikea plug with 3 USB ports at the end of a cable long enough to reach a socket around the corner, so it's fine, but be aware…

Quiet, does exactly what you think it will.

I have this under a new Tmobile 5g Home Internet Gateway that is getting hot. It's too early to say it's a great long-term option, but so far there's no noise and it's pumping enough air through the bottom of the airlock to cool it down significantly.

  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Works perfectly! best in Computers & Accessories category

I understand it wasn't designed for this, but I've had major problems with heating in my bedroom due to the combination of my computer and lack of airflow in/out with closed rooms clear doors. So when I saw that I thought I'd give it a chance. As you can see in the picture I plugged it into a wall charger and placed it on my bedroom floor fan (after removing the raised legs) and I have to say the difference is amazing. I no longer have to worry about sweating in the bedroom and the solution has

Great fan for T-Mobile 5G Gateway.

The fan is quiet and has sufficient airflow. Not much, but enough to keep the heat off the gate. It's also very quiet. Mine sits right on top, drawing air through the gate. If you are purchasing this fan for the same purpose, be sure to purchase a USB-A to USB-C adapter if you don't already have one, as the USB port on the Gateway is USB-C.

Cool and quiet. in Case Fan

I liked that when I placed it on my T-Mobile/Nokia 5G internet gateway at home, it felt hot from idle and got cool even under load. I used a USB-A to USB-C adapter to power the fan from the modem itself. The modem hasn't hung since I installed it above. I chose to place it on top because the legs prevent it from sliding down and drawing cold air through the open floor.

  • Worth the money

Does absolutely what it's supposed to do

This has reduced the temperature of my router significantly. While it used to be almost too hot to touch under full load, it's now almost cold. The network speed increases accordingly. At low and medium speeds, the fans make a rattling noise, and at high speeds, the fans can be a bit louder than they should be. These are two 120mm fans, you can't expect them to whisper but hope that at a lower speed they at least won't make a noise you can't live with. At the same time, when the TV and laptop…

Mixed feelings and unexpected results

I was looking for a USB fan that can move a lot of air. While this fan setup doesn't disappoint in this regard, the lowest switch settings ultimately caused one or more fans to vibrate and rattle. After arranging a replacement, I found that the replacement did the same. In the end I decided to just leave both on, assuming it wasn't an anomaly or defect but a design quirk regarding the use of a speed limit switch to gradually wiggle the fans. lower speeds anywhere on the blade assembly. I can't…
