When the device was purchased, the temperature of the whole family was measured. Everyone was healthy and the thermometer showed 36.6. We also tried to take measurements on surfaces in the appropriate mode. It felt approximately right, but they didn’t check anything, although it’s worth it, because now I’m lying with a temperature, this device shows 37 - 37.2, and mercury 38. They also double-checked with another thermometer, with a substitute for mercury - also 38. Maybe I’m doing something wrong so, but it seems to be according to the instructions (we are with a thermometer for several hours in the same room, the forehead is dry and clean, the distance is according to the instructions). I dare to assume that this is nothing more than a toy. It's a shame. It is scary to measure the temperature of a small child with such a device. The child will "burn", and the device is OK - 36.6.
