Review on AIYIMA A07 TPA3255 Power Amplifier: 300Wx2 HiFi Class D Stereo Digital Audio Amp for Passive Speaker Home Audio (A07+DC 32V Power Adapter) by Ryan Bennett

Small, portable, powerful and amazing for the money! Highly recommended.

Short and simple - Amazing little amp for the money, don't think twice and try it! + Watts per channel in stereo. If you are interested, you can find all the details in the TI data sheet. - The volume control is very useful, I usually keep mine about halfway and control the power through the TV or preamp. - I use heavy RCA cables but the amp remains stable, small but well made and good looking too. The 4mm banana plug is ideal for mounting the speaker. Small in size but still enough power to easily start my floor stands. The sound is clear, detailed and musical. - Doesn't get too hot even after hours of loud gaming, hence good efficiency and comes with an AC power adapter. I've ordered a few others to try, like the LM4562. Did I mention it's that easy to swap out the op amp? No soldering required, all you need is a chip extractor! *** Note: you don't need to change the op amp, it works as expected. This is just for the homemade itch. Considerations: -------------------- It is capable of delivering 300 watts per channel in stereo, but this requires a heavier power supply. Mine comes with a 32V 5A AC/DC adapter so it can input and output 32x5=160W. You can purchase a 48V 7.5A power supply if you need 300W, but the included power supply works well with the clean output required for at least my floor stands. - Small size so the speaker terminals are close to each other. Be careful when connecting bare speaker wire and avoid touching the amplifier chassis leads or other connectors. I recommend buying a banana plug for a clean and secure connection. It has an Aux/RCA input, you will need a preamp if you have multiple inputs or need bass/treble control. I use an Aiyima tube preamp and it works well with it. It has a volume control on the front but no remote control. Use a clean input like a good preamp or DAC to get the most out of it. All in all a very good power amplifier with a pure power load without distortion for its price. Highly recommended.
