Finally a solution at a reasonable price. When I bought my car, the previous owner already had a non-original CAI on the car, but nothing protected the filter. Every time the secondary radiator fan spins, the car idles hard and almost chokes because hot air is being blown directly into the intake. I'm a stingy person so I took old plastic battery boxes, cut them up and folded old license plates to make some sort of barrier between the filter and this fan and decorate as I didn't want to pay 50-60. + for a sign from a Speedshop website. -1 star because small parts are a nuisance and the metal braces that run under the clamp are slick so when tightened they start to slip and take the clamp with it. BUT. (Big bonus here) it's METAL. I was expecting plastic! So instead of expanding like a cone while pinching on one side, you can bend it into shape and it doesn't look as cheap as it is.
