What we liked: *) Auto power on/off when extending/retracting the connected probe or connecting/disconnecting the remote probe. I need to calibrate them.*) It's accurate for cooking purposes.*) Fast response time, it only takes a few seconds for the reading to stabilize.*) Remote probe for monitoring things in the oven or grill.*) Powered by a CR2032 battery which is more common these days and is used in many thin electronic remote controls and more. Thus, they are readily available and not too expensive should they ever need to be replaced. (Actually I keep a stock like I used to do with AA etc.) *) There is a built in magnet to attach it to the fridge, stove, grill or any surface you like. *) Good quality all round.
