Review on 🧵 Beginner Cross Stitch Kit for Adults - Artilife Embroidery Starter Kit with Stamped Pattern, Embroidery Hoops, Floss Thread, and Needles by Karla Richter

I really liked this project. I was trying embroidery for the first time and I love how easy and relaxing it was! I will say that the "step-by-step" instructions that come with the project are not very easy to understand and are *really* step-by-step. These are just photos showing how to make different types of stitches (which I had a hard time understanding), so I just went to YouTube and learned everything there pretty quickly! The pattern is already printed onto the fabric in blue ink, so all you have to do is sew over it. The instructions will tell you which colors go with which part of the pattern and how much floss to use for each stitch. I thought using 6 strands of thread was too much for the who cares part so I only used 3 strands and I like how it turned out so much better. was ended. The only thing the instructions say is that "the blue ink on the fabric may wash off after I'm done embroidering." It doesn't say how to wash it off or the best way to do it. I've read a few reviews here that said their thread bleeds and a few reviews that said the pattern itself bleeds. about 5-10 minutes. Some of the blue ink from the drawing bled a little but all I did was gently run it in cold water with my fingers and it worked. My thread didn't bleed either. After that I gently blotted it with a towel and then laid it on a towel to dry. Everything dried up overnight. Overall I was very happy with this product! I finished it in about 12-15 hours (more than 2-3 days). I'm only giving 4 stars because the instructions weren't very helpful in terms of the different stitches, nor was it clear how to wash off the pattern.
