I needed a new drill as my DeWalt was obsolete and batteries were no longer available. After doing some research on Brushless Craftsmen I decided to switch brands. This exercise is very cool. It has a lot of power and is about 20% smaller than the old DeWalt. There is a lamp under the drill that illuminates the drill/drive area. The specs are the same as the old drill (which was about $100 at the time - I paid $107 for this one) - multiple drill speeds and a keyless chuck. The kit does not include a case, but a bag that someone can like or dislike. I don't mind it much as the bag has more options and storage. There are two models, so be sure to check out the details. The last digit in the model number is the number of batteries included. If you see a price of $89, that's because there's only one battery included. This one comes with two, which is great as one can be charged while the other is in use. And because the battery is compatible with a variety of other tools, you can buy saws, grinders, etc. "just for tools" and save money in the long run.
