Review on Enhance Your Pregnancy Comfort with COMFYSURE 59" U Shaped Pregnancy Pillow by Tiffany Thompson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I've tried it and I don't know what I would do without it.

I thought I could do without a pregnancy pillow. Around week 28 my hips began to loosen/weaken to the point where I felt excruciating pain from just sleeping and then tensed up. I put a pillow between my legs, but it never stayed in place, especially on my late-night trips to the bathroom. I've seen other pillows on the internet, more expensive and more expensive, but this one said it because I often flip both ways. I figured that with this I wouldn't have to flip the pillow to the other side, I could just work on flipping it (since it's hard enough). Some reviews claimed there wasn't enough filling and for the first 2 days I thought so too. I quickly realized that this was a deliberate design and not a bug. My bed is 30 inches high due to the memory foam (I sink deep into it), sometimes I just can't get out of bed. Being able to fold up the edge of the pillow and use its height as leverage and my arms to support myself saved my life (currently 39 weeks). Also, when shifting from side to side, I can easily pull my body between my legs to align my hips. If it had been a very stuffed pillow this would have been impossible. As far as I'm lying, I have a tight shoulder underneath and it suits me very well. I'm picky about pillows and didn't think it would work when I got it but I have to say it really works for me. I took off a star because it's white. There is a cover, but it is still impossible to keep the white color. I wish they had other patterns. It's not the end of the world, after all, but many of us would appreciate a change. As I approach my due date and look forward to our little one, I thought it would be best to share my experiences.
