I just used the stock body because I couldn't get the fitting off lol. So, I have a 2003 F250 6.0L diesel engine. I ordered this part as a precaution. On the day of his arrival (Friday) I was at work. When I went to lunch, my truck started to run and idle. I don't know much about diesel, but I do know that rough idle has something to do with internal combustion. Injector, fuel, air intake, whatever. Anyway, I got home and installed the blue spring and all the gaskets. The truck is still idling, but not that bad! So I did a little research and found that my ficm output voltage is low. This means the injectors are not getting enough power to work properly. But even with that issue, that spring increased fuel pressure enough to reduce the extremely rough idle caused by poor performance. That is terribly impressive! Anyway, I will install a new ficm this week. I'll post an update later on how this works.
