UPDATE: Use your original case!

In addition to improving the blue spring (which I won't mention here) this kit will replace any seals in the regulator that have failed. If you need to fix a regulator leak, get this kit and enjoy the benefits of the blue spring upgrade as well as fixing the leak! UPDATE: Installed unit as instructed, casing has a pinpoint leak and tiny fuel flow. spray from it. And that's far from a counter-surface. I had to reuse my OEM case. Tired of taking it back

Will destroy your truck!

I installed this in my 2006 6.0 PowerStroke and it almost caused an overclocking situation! With this "upgrade" I was over 90psi and fuel was being expelled through the seals into my crankcase, diluting my engine oil with diesel. Have been driving the truck for about 1.5 weeks and my oil has already accumulated 7 GALLONS OF DIESEL FUEL. Could have wrecked the engine but (fortunately) wouldn't start and took it to my mechanic. Don't buy that crappy quality spring, spend a few bucks more on a…

Caused by fairly high fuel pressure for a week or two, non-genuine part.

Installed this kit on my 2005 F350. I was sitting near OEM fuel pressure and when I installed this kit it jumped to 80 at idle and leveled off at around 70 after a week or two. I also discovered after opening the box that this was NOT the genuine Ford OEM part (which they later mentioned in the product description). Since they used the Ford part number in the main name, I ordered it thinking it was a Ford part. a misleading title which I'm sure was intentional which is why it only gets 4 stars.

Good spring, bad seals, o-rings and metal body

All I bought this for was the spring. Spring seems harder. Some of the o-rings in the kit didn't fit so I had to use my old ones. It would be nice to be able to replace the o-rings with new ones to provide more durable and new seals. You guys who put this build together really need to solve the problem that a lot of people had when buying this kit and getting the right size o-rings to fit in. I also used my old metal case because what came with the kit had metal burrs that weren't properly…

6.0 liter diesel engine with power stroke. Easy install, works GREAT!

I just used the stock body because I couldn't get the fitting off lol. So, I have a 2003 F250 6.0L diesel engine. I ordered this part as a precaution. On the day of his arrival (Friday) I was at work. When I went to lunch, my truck started to run and idle. I don't know much about diesel, but I do know that rough idle has something to do with internal combustion. Injector, fuel, air intake, whatever. Anyway, I got home and installed the blue spring and all the gaskets. The truck is still idling,

Buyer Warning. Check the fuel pressure after installing this kit.

I installed this blue spring kit to save money over Ford parts. I figured there was just no point in spending $70 at the retailer in the spring when there's $30 on Amazon with so many great reviews. After installing this product, I have driven my truck for hundreds of kilometers and have noticed a reduction in fuel consumption. I checked the fuel pressure at the bottom of the filter with a hand gauge and it was 80psi at idle. According to Ford, this is the fuel pump's maximum output when it's…
