Large distance between receiver and Samsung Q8 TV. The previous TV had no issues with a standard HDMI cable, but the Q8 displayed a DirectV signal but not Roku or Sony BD. Once I connect this cable, all sources appear on the TV. The cable is not very thick, maybe bad, let's see how it holds up. Remember it's unidirectional. There is a source end and a receiver end (TV). Audio from the TV is not being sent back to the receiver. I think the audio fiber optic channel can be used to send sound back to the receiver. I haven't checked yet.
