Review on πŸ”§ Torx Female Socket Drive by PANMAX by Tony Conlon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A set of 14 quality Torx sockets at a very reasonable price

I'm not proud of this but I am guilty of having used a standard Torx head in the past. It's always worked fine, but I've never had one that was really stuck or rusty. So I was lucky that it didn't slip and round the screw. But not anymore. This is a good set of 14 torx sockets from E4 to E24, perfect for the vast majority of my needs. The drive side varies from 1/4" to 1/2". I also recently bought a set of 7. Torx nozzles. So no more improvising with Allen keys. I should be well prepared for the Torx world in the future. I no longer rack my brains when I meet one of them. The build quality seems to be good. I checked every outlet for defects and found none. The material is pretty durable and the chrome finish is nice. They appear to be very well made, although not as heavy as some of the other sockets I have. I can't say anything about durability. But my initial assessment of the quality is consistently positive. I expect they will last a long time with moderate use. The case is not the best, but better than many. The locking mechanism is secure and easy to open. The pieces don't all fit in order, which is odd. But it keeps them organized and protected to a degree. Overall a good selection of female torx sockets. Well made with a good range of popular sizes at a reasonable price.
