I needed to replace the pump in a small tabletop fountain. This pump is slightly larger than the one I replaced, but I was able to maneuver it to make it work. The pump is very quiet. And relatively strong, I had to use the "Flow Limit" setting to lower the pressure. That is a good thing. Better too much flow than too little. The negative reviews about shredded tubes are picky. Yes, it comes with folds. And yes, it stretches. However, I had hoped for a smaller hose diameter with such a small pump. Because of the width, it was very difficult to hide the whistle in the fountain bowl. And by manipulating the tube, he rendered the suction cups useless. I just removed them. And if you have to bend the pipe around a corner, it can get pinched. I ended up using an L shaped connector to go around the bends.
