Too coarse? on Cutlery and Knife Accessories
I didn't know a knife could be too rough, but these knives are very rough. I use serrated knives primarily for kitchen chores, not as steak knives, and they shred most foods rather than cut them cleanly. Compared to other serrated knives they replace, they are rippers, not cutters. The jagged edges appear to be set off a bit on the blade, causing additional breakage. It's also not very good for meat and steaks as the meat also tears. The quality of the knives seems great and they look good, maybe they can soften a bit over time.
