Admittedly, I should have studied them better. I had no idea how or why these things go right to left for no reason. I have no idea how this is even possible. I wanted to use them for an animated RADAR SCREEN of the old days where as we all know the motion is CLOCKWISE when it sweeps. So I got them and moved on to Plan "B" where it really wouldn't matter which way they turned BUT STILL GRRRRRR. So I researched it further. Many complained about the heat. THEY ARE HOT! When they arrived I plugged one into my desktop for a few hours. It got pretty WARM, but not HOT, but there was no load on it. If I were to use them for/in my project, they would need to be cooled by some sort of fan, which would complicate my project with additional noise and electrical loading. I found ONE type of these motors that moves strictly clockwise and I'm waiting for it. Delivery, but in the reviews about it there are even more complaints about the heater. KILL ME! ADVICE! If you use them in a closed unit/box for a long time, plan to cool them down somehow.
