Very sharp scissors so be very careful when using them. I love that they come with a lid so they don't come off while they're in our drawer. The included scraper makes it much easier to remove food stuck between the blades. So far we have used these scissors for spring onions, coriander, basil, parsley and other fresh herbs from our garden. These scissors really make the job easier, especially with smaller herbs. You don't have to worry about cutting your fingertips or cutting them while trying to cut them. When it comes to cleaning, I use a scraper first, then wash in soapy water and then rinse. I make sure they are completely dry before putting the cover on. No rust yet and they are still sharp.
