Review on ๐Ÿ”˜ Long-lasting Gloss and Protection: Optimum OB2008Q Opti-Bond Tire Gel - 32 oz. by Chris Hernandez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product but spills easily and leaves a slippery residue

I was skeptical when I ordered this product but I'm glad I did. Here are the good and the bad: The good: - it keeps your tires super shiny - it lasts a very long time - it doesn't splatter on your car long enough. Cons: - You have to apply it with a sponge, but the mixture is so thick that even if you dilute it with water from another bottle (as recommended by the manufacturer), it will eventually splatter onto the floor and onto your wheels. So you should only apply a small amount at a time to avoid splattering, but again it takes much longer to complete the job. Spills can be difficult to clean up properly, especially on your wheels. .With advantages versus two (significant) disadvantages, I would recommend this product over others I have used in the past. However, be careful. I ended up diluting enough with the same amount of distilled water and pouring it into a spray bottle, learning very quickly not to spray directly on the tires but on a sponge.

Pros
  • Opti-Bond Tire Gel has a glossy sheen that won't leave a greasy, sticky residue that spatters onto fenders or attracts dirt to tires, vinyl trim or interior surfaces
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
