Review on πŸƒ Organic Nursing Balm, 1 oz - Bamboo Nipple Cream (Lanolin-Free) by Kim Sanchez

Not for me and soiled clothes

I bought this balm before my son was born because I knew that breastfeeding would make me didn't want to use lanolin. I put it in my hospital bag and used it from day one until about a week after giving birth. My baby initially had trouble latching and I have faithfully used this balm after every feeding and it has not helped my cracked, crusty and bleeding nipples at all. It also left horrible stains on my clothes and completely ruined my favorite bathrobe, which really annoyed me. I know you can just wear a nursing bra or nursing pads, but honestly, I don't always want to wear a bra when I'm breastfeeding at home, especially at night, so dying my clothes was a deal breaker for me. I've since switched to coconut oil (recommended by my lactation consultant) and Motherlove nipple cream, and they've worked much better for me.
