Originally bought for my cat Lizzy whose breath might come out of the paint. She's had terrible breath since she was quite young; I could afford to have her brush my teeth every year while I was abroad, but back in the US I can't afford it, plus she's almost ten years old and I don't want general anesthesia on her just for that therefore undergo more. The vet was against this supplement from the start, noting that the chlorine dioxide in this water supplement is similar to administering cat bleach. I put exactly four drops of this substance in 3 cups (24+ oz) of water last night and suddenly Lizzie has been vomiting since last night and two others are refusing to eat. Lizzie vomited up all of last night's dinner and has been refusing to eat ever since. The other two cats didn't throw up, but they didn't eat either. The only cats unaffected are those currently living outside - likely because the substance hasn't been added to their water. I heard poor Lizzie gargling and thrashing all night and day and found over 15 gallbladders everywhere. Carpet all over the house and the other two cats refuse to eat their favorite treats or canned food that I make them. I took Lizzie's favorite food into the bedroom to eat alone and she crawled under the bed and vomited some more. I just found bilious vomit in all cat beds. Cats, three cats that refuse to eat, and a house full of ruined carpets. NOT a happy mother cat.
