Slide it the way it should always be, I should have bought and installed that day, was quick but not that easy (30 minutes from install to cleaning). I wrapped the wires and connectors in Scotch 3311 2" x 10 yd 3.6ml silver aluminum foil to keep things warm and camouflaged from dealers. No CEL or any warnings just smooth shifting.
