I bought one of these for grow tents to keep the air circulating. It was perfect. The clamp grips the tent rails and holds the fan well, and the three speeds are great for adjusting height and keeping airflow consistent. I ended up ordering 4 more of these for my other tents and am returning the one I had from another brand. I have no idea about the battery life, they were bought to stay connected to the network. The only thing I would recommend is to get yourself some long micro USB to USB cables if you intend to use it plugged in as well, as the charging cable is included. like 6 inches long. Dear little fans.
