Matching Elite x2 1012 G1 with modification

First of all, the photo is wrong. The case you will receive is in the pictures I uploaded. This is the correct case for the G2 (T3P15AA) but when I saw a photo showing the same case as the G1 I thought it would also fit the G1. It's perfect for the G1, with one exception. The notch for the USB Type-C port for charging the tablet is in the wrong place. I was able to modify the case by cutting a hole in the case where the connector on the G1 is located. The problem is the G1 power adapter has a right angle connector which is great so you don't damage it if the tablet is dropped so you have to cut a slotted hole. The size of the hole weakens the right side protection, not so much that the tablet falls out of the case, just enough that you can't hold the tablet by the right edge of the case. However, I like this case. It's much thicker than the case shown in the photo that was designed for the G1. The rotating strap is awesome. You only have two options on the G1, neither of which is very handy when trying to hold the tablet in a seated position. I end up holding the stand more than using the strap. The G2's body is much better finished than the G1's body. While the G1's body is smooth hard plastic with a leather vinyl piece glued to the back, the G2's body is much thicker with taller rubber bumpers over the frame. The G1 case is a better design because instead of inserting the tablet from below, the frame snaps securely onto the back, making it almost impossible for the bottom of the frame to fall off the tablet and damage the tablet. . Another minor annoyance with the G1's chassis is that the "tabs" of the shoulder strap connection protrude nearly an inch, making it awkward to hold the table by the top corners.
