A bag holds bread for a week and stays fresh in the freezer.
I used them to stuff store bought bread. I don't have any gauges to measure the improvement, but overall I don't think the toaster is burning like it used to be. Were there ties in the box. Didn't see them and was surprised there wasn't anything better than a grocery store. In truth, after putting the two pouches in the freezer, I kept the box in a safe place and have never seen it since. I bought a second box that is in a crowded area; I hope to find it when I need a large thick plastic bag. I was relieved to learn that they have their own twister ties.
