I have a little problem with this so I'll talk about it first. The needle doesn't seem very sharp. I have a hard time closing the door over a cup. I have to push it down and then close it. The needle is inside, not in the lid. I've tried several brands with the same results. I may be weak but I want to mention it. Be careful not to fill the water tank completely. You fill your cup and then pour it into the reservoir. You can brew normal or strong. I love that I can use any fragrance I want. You can also use your own pad using the special cup provided. That works fine too. My husband prefers to use it because he loves a certain type of coffee. Easy to empty and clean. The fan is great. You can froth it warm, which is like puffed milk. If you use cold it's more like whipped cream. If using a warm setting, use the milk immediately. It quickly turns into regular milk. It is better to pour milk into coffee with a spoon than to pour it. In general I like it very much. It's compact and doesn't take up much space on my desk. That works great.
