Improved Weather Radio I Already Have

Scout camping season is approaching and it's never too early to prepare for the worst. I've been very lucky on the last few hikes and avoided a few big storms, but when you're that lucky you always feel like your luck will eventually run out. I decided to find a good emergency radio and this multipurpose radio looked amazing! This emergency radio can be powered by USB charging, manual start, solar power or batteries. I recommend having batteries with you just in case, but using one of the other options for everything else. The features of this radio include AM/FM, weather radio, SOS alarm and a super bright flashlight. which is also beautiful is that there's a place to plug in a USB cable when you need to quickly charge your phone to make a quick call or send a text message and get help. This is a much better version of the previous emergency radio I used. Radio is better as it is a digital tuner and not analog. Flashlight is better. The turning handle is longer and easier to manipulate. I think it will do the trick when I hike with my son and his fellow Boy Scouts and during hurricane season when it hits later this year.
