Ordered this for a sewing/craft desk. I have so many things to plug in - multiple cars, multiple lights, iron, phone, tablet, glue guns, etc. I installed a surge protector under my desk, but I had to crawl to plug and unplug everything. . I didn't even know there was such a thing as energy towers until late one night when I saw a commercial. I started googling and after a lot of reading decided to do it. I liked how many outlets it has and how many USB. I love that you can turn off the power at each level of the sockets - and love the handle that I run the iron cord through when I unplug it so it's handy next time. No more crawling under the table.
