So they worked great in the parking lot every time we checked the radio. And it stopped working as soon as we got onto the freeway. And spent the better part of 3000 miles trying to figure it out. Finally called Midland and they were lovely and went out of their way to get things sorted. And it seems the trailer between the truck in front and 100 feet was enough to render her unusable. So it practically won't work if you can't physically see the other person. So basically, if I collapsed because of bad cell phone reception, my friend would just keep working and I would pay about $100 for the privilege. Please note this before purchasing.
