I was disappointed --- I followed the vinegar and water directions. The vinegar made everything very smelly and there wasn't enough steam to wipe out the inside of my microwave. I was afraid the vinegar, which seemed to be drying on my stainless steel insert, would corrode it, so I put a shallow bowl of water in it and tried steaming it again, then wiped it off with a hot, damp cloth. I would have liked it if there was enough vapor, but unfortunately there wasn't, so I wouldn't buy this again. Maybe it works better on a small microwave.
