Review on ๐Ÿ’“ Optimized Garmin Heart Rate Monitor by Matthew Bowman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It was very easy to set up. I connected it to my Fenix3 via .

I bought this primarily to track my heart rate during indoor workouts. I give it 5 stars for easy setup but will remove one for easy use riding. It was very easy to set up. I connected it to my Fenix3 by simply searching for a new device on the Fenix. It immediately found the heart rate monitor Heart rate monitor straight away no problem it's quite comfortable to wear I have some chest hair and it caught a few times when I adjusted it on my first ride but it's really not a big deal Now for the not so good parts I It was very difficult to position it properly on my chest so it would pick up my heartbeat, I'm a doctor so I know where my heart is and where it should be feeling strongest, had to fiddle with the position for a few minutes from there with it reading correctly, and even then in the middle of the m while driving a carriage it would shut off if the sensor on my chest was moving at all. I feel like I need to play around with the strap tension and chest placement a bit before I can set everything up. When driving on the road I had to stop to adjust it. which would be VERY annoying. Overall I can't complain, especially for the price. $15 is insanely cheap to add this vital information to a training ride. Now I can ride in the right HR range and really improve the efficiency of my rides. Good buy, highly recommended.
