WHAT I LOVE: This frame is very attractive, the design is elegant, simple, looks high quality - definitely looks like I paid more. The frame is made of metal with a brushed silver rim. It works well in a variety of interior styles, from traditional to minimalist and beyond. The back of the frame is black velvet and stands solid. The frame is made of relatively thick real glass. I love the frame and would buy it again. WHAT I DID NOT: I deducted a star for two reasons. Although I bought this frame for desktop use, it has a tab for hanging on the wall. I do not recommend hanging it on the wall. The photo (and a piece of cardboard) are under a black velvet backing. These materials are inserted from the bottom of the frame. If there is not enough material when you hang it on the wall, everything will fall out. As long as it's an 8x10 frame, my photo will fit too, but from the sides to the back, which may cause my photo to tilt a bit to one side. I had to insert the photos, tape the cardboard, and then hold them while my roommate applied the velvet backing. It hurt a bit, but the results are so beautiful I'm almost ashamed to complain. :) Other reviewers have used duct tape to solve this problem, which I probably should have done from the start. Overall I really like this frame, it looks so good for such a great price! Hope I was helpful!
