We bought this because my husband had a stalker and although anyone could get in if they really wanted it it's better than nothing. I didn't realize that you can read anything through the small windows, it just shows that something is there. Fairly large items can fit if the postman takes the time to fold them or push them aside, but some of them won't fit. I was about to put a note on the cover like "Hey, we're dealing with a stalker, sorry for the inconvenience but please put the mail through the slot" but my husband said it might just incapacitate the stalker, when they see it. All in all a good product for the price considering the mailboxes are expensive.
