Exactly what I needed.

You can spend a lot of money on chess. Not this one. This is a cute little magnetic chess set with proportional pieces. The squares are 1 inch and the height of the king is 2 inches. Easily fits on your lap or on a nearby table. Great for solving puzzles or chasing games. It seems quite sturdy although I haven't traveled with it. Good price, was in stock and delivered quickly, a real bonus.
