Very easy to install on my 2006 Lexus IS350. Yes, the clip system is different from the original, but once you remove the old posts they sit right on top of the ledge where the original posts used to be and stay there with their own (other) clips already in place , no changes are required . The problem is they aren't much better than FAILED OEM. Yes, they keep the trunk. Yes, they help raise the trunk better than fancy racks, but hardly. Yes, they dampen the closing of the trunk, but again hardly at all. So you can buy them for $26 a pair and be unhappy, or shell out $80 for two genuine Lexus parts and be like new.
