Not working as well as hoped

Product is ok, easy to assemble but I still need help opening the trunk. Lifting the truck just got easier, but you still need help.

Easy installation. The clamps on the jack are OEM suitable.

Easy installation. The clips on it fit with no problems. The other end attached to the trunk is easier to install by removing the rubber stoppers to install the lift mechanism and then reinstalling the rubber stopper.

Works great but needs a little mod 2008 Lexus IS250

They work great and have a soft opening unlike Sachs or other brands which open at full force which puts stress on the body hinges. The only problem is the flat end with a hole, the outside edges need to be sanded/sawed to mount the clip on a 2008 Lexus IS250. Not critical, especially for the price.

Classic "You get what you pay for " suitcases

Very easy to install on my 2006 Lexus IS350. Yes, the clip system is different from the original, but once you remove the old posts they sit right on top of the ledge where the original posts used to be and stay there with their own (other) clips already in place , no changes are required . The problem is they aren't much better than FAILED OEM. Yes, they keep the trunk. Yes, they help raise the trunk better than fancy racks, but hardly. Yes, they dampen the closing of the trunk, but again…

before you buy! - Shocks, Struts and Suspension

Let me start by saying that I would not recommend these struts to the standard DIY enthusiast. These racks "work". But they're a bit too long, making them difficult to put on without a lot of muscle, nor do they have clips to adjust them properly. Existing Lexus/Toyota clamps that come with your factory carriers WILL NOT WORK with these carriers without major modifications to the clamps and the carrier itself. I personally used an angle grinder to change the tabs where the holes are supposed to
