When I first tried this I was disappointed that the water came out. At the end of the handle is a regulator that controls the water supply. I didn't remove the whole regulator. I just took off the little rubber o-ring that was right there and was very easy to pull out. (I've attached a picture of the O-ring). This was more than enough to keep me completely satisfied with the water coming out of my new shower head. I like different settings and I especially like the dribbling setting. The paging setting comes as close as possible to the pause function without adding an extra valve to your shower head. It is great for saving water without changing the water temperature when switching back and forth. I also like the extra height that comes from the way this is set up. Don't get too carried away with reviews that the hose isn't flexible. I almost did. This is the standard plastic hose that comes with all standard shower heads. I ran hot water through, then hand straightened some of the creases after shipping and let it hang for a while. Then when I hung it up I adjusted the hose at both ends so it was against the wall and spraying in the right direction and it hasn't been a problem since. It softens when you shower and when you take it off to use it flexes like any other plastic hose and dangles just like it should. If you need a flexible steel hose, you have to buy it separately or pay a much higher price for the shower head included in the kit. For the price this is a great shower head with a 6 inch hose.
